Job Summary:

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff within the hospital facility. This includes inspecting and monitoring work sites, controlling access, and patrolling assigned areas. The Security Officer may also be required to collect and complete paperwork related to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and monitor work sites to identify potential security risks
  • Control access to the hospital facility and its surroundings
  • Patrol assigned areas to prevent and respond to security incidents
  • Collect and complete paperwork related to security incidents
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure a safe and secure environment

Requirements:

  • 5 years of good driving experience with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years and zero DUI convictions or reckless driving convictions
  • Periodic motor vehicle/driving record checks may be obtained throughout employment
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid LA drivers license (or must obtain one within probationary employment period if coming from out of state)
  • Security experience preferred
