Live Event Audio Engineer

Livewire Entertainment Media Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Live Event Audio Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the audio aspects of our live events, ensuring that every detail is executed to perfection.
Job Summary:The Live Event Audio Engineer will be responsible for managing the audio equipment and crew for our live events, including corporate keynote events, festivals, concerts, and theatrical productions. This role requires a strong understanding of audio technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:- Manage audio equipment and crew for live events
- Develop and implement audio plans for events
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and technical directors to understand their vision and needs
- Source and locate additional equipment for rental or purchase as needed
- Work with operations team to communicate budgetary needs
- Direct crew to rig/place audio equipment as needed on-site at event
- Collaborate with other departments on the job site
- Write cue sheets describing cues and cue numbers
- Program consoles cue-to-cue for operation by other Livewire staff
- Run cue-to-cue technical rehearsal
- Demonstrated experience managing audio for high-stakes corporate keynote events
- Familiarity with industry-standard audio equipment and software
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to think critically and quickly on the job site
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Annual pay determined on experience
