About the Role:

cFocus Software Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Chief Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization from cyber threats.

Job Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can monitor and assess security devices for patterns and anomalies, conduct threat hunts in cloud-based and non-cloud-based applications, review and analyze risk-based security alerts and open-source intelligence, plan, conduct, and document iterative threat hunts, configure and troubleshoot Endpoint Detection and Response agents, collect and analyze data from compromised systems, and track and document cyber defense incidents.
  • You will be responsible for identifying, deterring, monitoring, and investigating computer and network intrusions, providing forensic support, and conducting malware analysis.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a computer-related field, such as computer science or engineering.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance and US Citizenship.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience and certifications (GCIA, GCIH, GSEC, GMON, Splunk Core Power User).

About the Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
