Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team at viastore North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) and conveyor products.

The primary duties of this role include:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Responsible for the mechanical and electrical installation of new AS/RS and conveyor products as well as enhancements and/or retrofits to existing equipment.
  • Emergency Service: Provide emergency service to clients during and after the system warranty period has expired.
  • Planned Maintenance: Perform on-site planned maintenance inspections of AS/RS and conveyor equipment to ensure compliance with factory standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AS/RS and their mechanical and electrical operation, along with experience in warehousing and automated material-handling equipment. They must also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Salary Estimate: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
