Job Overview

Magnet Medical is seeking a skilled travel nurse to provide top-notch care in the CVOR department of a prominent hospital in Dallas, Texas.

Estimated Salary: $120-$150 per hour (36 hours/week)

Job Responsibilities

As a Global Healthcare Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care using evidence-based practices and adhering to facility protocols. Key responsibilities include:

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their unique needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications safely and effectively, ensuring accurate dosages and monitoring patient responses.
  • Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy outcomes and empowering them to manage their conditions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Graduate Degree: A diploma or degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Previous work experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a CVOR setting.
  • Licensure: Current, unrestricted RN licensure in the state.
Workplace Conditions

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent lifting, bending, and reaching. Additionally, they may be required to lift up to 80 pounds using proper techniques. The job requires standing and walking for extended periods, potentially up to 5 hours at a time. The work environment may expose the employee to chemicals, radiation, infectious diseases, waste, and blood-borne pathogens.
