About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Development Teacher to join our team at Willamette Family's Child Development Center (CDC). As a Child Development Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing environment for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old, addressing their developmental and specific needs.

Responsibilities
  • Apply early childhood development theory in daily activities and adapt to the individual needs of children.
  • Supervise and monitor children at all times to ensure a safe environment.
  • Work as a team member collaborating with staff, parents, and community resources.
  • Make frequent significant decisions and solve problems in a crisis situation.
Requirements
  • One year or more of experience in a certified early childhood program.
  • Currently enrolled in the Oregon Child Care Division's Criminal Background Registry (CBR).
  • Enrolled in the Oregon Registry Online and possess a step number (Step 9 or higher).
  • Pre-employment Drug Screening (including Cannabis/THC).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
