Overview

At Interstate Cleaning Corporation, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Crew member to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of shopping malls and retail department stores.

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team to perform a variety of cleaning tasks. Your duties will include:

  • Cleaning entrances, restrooms, and common areas
  • Dusting, wiping, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors and surfaces
  • Operating a diesel-fired hot water pressure washer to clean sidewalks and entrance aprons
  • Stacking Food Court chairs and moving tables to allow access to the floor for cleaning
  • Patrolling the mall on foot to identify and clean up spills and hazards
  • Wiping down mall common area furniture and entrance doors
  • Scraping up gum from flooring surfaces and sidewalks
  • Performing touch-up cleaning and restocking restrooms
  • Portering Food Court tables and chairs
  • Removing trays to designated areas and washing them using commercial tray washing equipment or by hand
  • Empting common area trash receptacles and moving trash to designated compactor areas

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation, and be willing to work weekends. A background check will be required.
