Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide high-quality endodontic care to our patients, working closely with a team of skilled dental professionals. This is a full-time position that requires a commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for patient care.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat patients with dental diseases and injuries involving the pulp and periapical tissues.
- Perform root canal treatments and other endodontic procedures to save natural teeth.
- Diagnose and treat dental pain and oral diseases such as pulpitis and apical periodontitis.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools such as digital radiography and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) to accurately diagnose and plan treatment.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Provide patient education on oral health, endodontic treatments, and post-treatment care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in endodontics and incorporate them into practice.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and sanitation protocols in the dental office.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote oral health awareness.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
- Successful completion of an accredited postgraduate Endodontic program.
- A minimum of one to three years of experience as an Endodontist/High Volume Practice Experience Preferred.
- Valid FL state dental license, or FL Dental state dental license in progress.
- Endodontic certification.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to perform precise endodontic procedures.
- Proficiency in using endodontic instruments and advanced diagnostic tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and dental team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and maintain a positive attitude.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development activities and stay updated on the latest advancements in endodontics.
- Ability to comply with all safety and sanitation protocols in the dental office.
