Housekeeping Associate

About the Role

As a Housekeeping Associate at Kohl's, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our customers and employees. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all areas of the store are clean and well-maintained, adhering to Kohl's best practices and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the store, including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles.
• Utilize approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Maintain levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies by ordering replacements when necessary.
• Complete and maintain required training for chemical, equipment, and maintenance.
• Routinely complete basic equipment maintenance according to company guidelines.
• Effectively use Kohl's tools and technology to plan, communicate, and share information with the store team.
• Support the operations team in receiving and processing product, executing stockroom operations, and omni-channel fulfillment when needed.
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.

• Perform daily store cleaning tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Complete operational processes as needed to provide an excellent customer experience.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Client-facing retail or service industry experience.
