The Lead Student Worker is a key member of our food service team, responsible for supervising, training, and managing the food operation. This role ensures that food is prepared and served in a safe and efficient manner, meeting the high standards of Aramark.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain work schedules and production records.
  • Direct daily activities and maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment.
  • Ensure food production meets quality and safety standards, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records.
  • Supervise and evaluate employees, providing guidance and support for growth and development.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and recommend equipment replacements as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Food Service Director and Manager to achieve program goals.
  • Fill in for absent employees and maintain knowledge of daily catering events.
  • Attend food service meetings and maintain effective communication with staff.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
  • Completion of a sanitation course within the first year.
  • Basic arithmetic skills and ability to maintain emotional control under stress.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
  • Student status at the Aramark location.
