Job Overview

Southeastern Paper Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate pallet jack, forklift, and standup reach to efficiently manage inventory and shipments.
  • Receive and process purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  • Replenish and restock inventory, maintaining a well-organized and secure warehouse environment.
  • Participate in general housekeeping and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and clean workspace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Load packages onto delivery trucks for shipping and receiving.
  • Pull orders and WCALL, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment.
  • Take product to locations, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Pick inventory for package assembly and stage for shipping, adhering to quality control standards.
  • Create shipping labels and manage FedEx and UPS logistics.
  • Conduct outbound shipments, verifying accuracy and completeness.
  • Unload packages from delivery trucks, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance requirements are met, adhering to industry standards.
  • Clean and maintain the warehouse, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Shift and Schedule:

  • Work up to hours shift, including night shifts.
  • Monday to Friday, with no weekend work required.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with coworkers.
  • Willingness to work as a team player, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Problem-solving skills to effectively handle urgent issues and prioritize tasks.
  • Flexibility to perform varied tasks and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to assemble packages and shipments efficiently.
  • Basic working knowledge of computers, RF Scanners, forklift, walkie rider, and Warehouse Management systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, with frequent walking, standing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
  • Ability to navigate the warehouse and reach items both high and low, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
