We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Instructor to join our team at Southwest Virginia Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical instruction and supervision to students in our Practical Nursing program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical instruction plans that meet the needs of students and the program
- Provide individualized instruction and feedback to students in a clinical setting
- Assess student learning and progress, and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia
- At least 2 years of experience in nursing education or clinical practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
