Job Summary:
As a Flight Paramedic at Lutheran Hospital, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services. Under the direction of the Lutheran Air-Lutheran Ground Director/Manager/Supervisor, you will identify patient needs and priorities, plan and execute care, and evaluate patient response.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Operate and maintain medical equipment and vehicles
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:
• Current Indiana State Licensure as a Paramedic
• Current CPR (BLS HCP) and ACLS certifications
• Completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 1 year of hire
• Valid vehicle driver's license and defensive driving training
• Three years of Paramedic experience in a busy 911 service
• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a State-approved Paramedic program

Physical Requirements:
To safely operate within the weight specifications of the aircraft, it is recommended that each staff member not exceed 230 pounds in weight in uniform and boots. Weight will be assessed annually.
