Responsibilities
  • Supervise self-administration of medication for residents
  • Assist with daily living activities, meal service, light housekeeping, and laundry
  • Interact with residents at all levels of care, demonstrating empathy, kindness, and respect
  • Observe and report changes in residents' health and emotional well-being to supervisors
  • Participate in leisure activities and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties and ensure a dignified atmosphere for residents and staff
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and visitors
  • Ensure residents sign out when leaving the community
  • Maintain a safe working environment and report safety hazards
  • Provide assistance to associates and management as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medicine Technician (Med-Tech) certification
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job
