**Primary Objective of the Role:** Lead and support efforts to ensure that all equipment adheres to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Monitor engineering expenditures and compliance with capital budgeting.

Assist in the design, installation, modification, and maintenance of both new and existing plant equipment, buildings, and facilities.

Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to provide essential support to production, ensuring the highest quality products are produced at the lowest possible costs.


Key Responsibilities:

Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, analyze product inconsistencies, propose solutions, and facilitate cost-reduction strategies aimed at enhancing product cost efficiency.

These responsibilities include training and guiding team members and providing daily support on the production floor.

Identify performance issues through analysis and apply technical knowledge of products and processes to minimize waste and reduce costs.

Assist in preparing cost estimates, justifying project finances, developing budgets, reviewing designs, and overseeing installation and commissioning processes.

Contribute to research on new equipment, systems, and processes to enhance plant operations.

Gain insights and assist in ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards by collaborating with relevant associates on EHS matters, implementing MSR's, and continuously improving communication across departments.

Participate in contractor management and conduct periodic audits of contractor work to ensure adherence to safe work practices and standard operating procedures.


Qualifications:
BS in Engineering

Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance teams to achieve cost-effective objectives. Preferred experience includes equipment design, automation engineering, and project management.

Skills:
Proficient in utilizing computer-based technologies, interpreting and creating technical CAD drawings and schematics. Ability to comprehend electrical or mechanical diagrams, program and debug programming languages, and troubleshoot machine issues. Familiarity with designing electrical control systems and understanding modern safety control systems is advantageous.
