Position: Cantador (Expeditor)

Summary: The Cantador plays an essential role in the culinary operations at Los Dos Potrillos. This position is pivotal in ensuring that orders are accurately processed and delivered to guests promptly. Acting as the main communication link between the kitchen and the dining area, the Cantador guarantees a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently call out orders and provide precise instructions to kitchen personnel regarding the timing and specifics of each dish.
• Clearly communicate any special requests or modifications to the kitchen team.
• Synchronize the preparation of various dishes to ensure they are served at the right moment.
• Collaborate closely with chefs, line cooks, and other kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Oversee the plating process to ensure that dishes are presented attractively and meet quality standards.
• Support and guide kitchen staff, particularly during peak service times.
• Encourage a positive and cooperative atmosphere within the kitchen.
• Notify Front of House staff of any delays or changes in orders to keep guests informed.
