We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer Intern to join our Energy and Industrial Group. As a key member of our project team, you will assist senior engineers in the execution of project work, including design, analysis, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
- Work on project reporting, tracking, and evaluating project activities, progress, and associated data.
- Be involved in system designs and the preparation of specifications for the procurement of major industrial energy equipment and related installation services.
- Expected graduation date in Winter 2025 or Spring 2026 with a Bachelor or Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Self-starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction.
- Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community.
- Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
- Prior, related internship or co-op experience.
- Competitive hourly rate of $25.38.
