Job Title: Security Agent

Job Summary

The Security Agent will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our hospital and its surroundings. This includes responding to security incidents, conducting patrols, and providing assistance to patients and employees as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the hospital and its surroundings to identify potential security risks.
  • Provide assistance to patients and employees as needed, including escorting visitors and providing information about hospital policies and procedures.
  • Monitor security cameras and respond to alarms as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest security protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification required within one year of employment.
  • At least one year of general security, law enforcement, or military experience required.
  • Valid Tennessee driver's license and Tennessee armed or un-armed security guard state license required.
Working Conditions

The Security Agent will work in a fast-paced hospital environment and will be required to walk and stand for extended periods of time. The ability to climb stairs and lift patients as needed is also required.
