About the Role

Greenheck Group is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations on the 3rd shift. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Direct: Directly supervise hourly production team members, setting performance expectations and ensuring they have the necessary equipment and training to complete their tasks.
  • Monitor and Improve: Monitor work performance results, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Execute Daily Production Plan: Execute the daily production plan for the respective area of responsibility, ensuring that production targets are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Promote collaborative effort, team member engagement, autonomy, and partnership decision-making that aligns with our employer of choice initiatives.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement activities that enhance our key performance indicators, improve safety culture, and advance team member relations.
  • Coordinate Activities: Coordinate activities among various internal departments that can affect the production process, including scheduling, engineering, production management, shipping, inventory control, sales, and purchasing.
  • Maintain Work Areas: Maintain work areas to meet or exceed company 5S and safety standards.
  • Develop Cross-Training Plans: Develop cross-training plans and encourage continued development of our team members.
  • Perform Monthly Safety Training: Perform monthly safety training for the area of responsibility, ensuring team members follow necessary safety guidelines and maintain necessary safety records.
  • Utilize ERP and Other Systems: Utilize ERP, attendance, and other Greenheck systems to support labor and manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare Performance Reviews: Prepare and conduct performance reviews as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: 2-year Associate Degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, business administration, management, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of relevant work experience is required, including 1-2 years of relevant leadership experience.
  • Skills: Excel experience in pivot tables and VLOOKUP is preferred, as well as SAP experience.
