We are seeking a highly skilled Counterintelligence Specialist to join our team at Peraton. As a Counterintelligence Specialist, you will play a critical role in evaluating, prioritizing, and managing risk within assigned portfolios. You will analyze intelligence gathered from various sources to detect and counter potential threats to national security, and collaborate with intelligence agencies and law enforcement to assess and analyze potential threats.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and Prioritize Risk: Assess and prioritize risk within assigned portfolios to ensure effective management of national security threats.
- Intelligence Analysis: Analyze intelligence gathered from various sources to detect and counter potential threats to national security.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with intelligence agencies and law enforcement to assess and analyze potential threats, including espionage and sabotage.
- Countermeasures and Threat Detection: Recommend comprehensive CI awareness and vulnerabilities assessments, and provide guidance on the development of new countermeasures and threat detection.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare accurate reports that document processes, outcomes, and findings of investigations/interviews.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience in counterintelligence or a related field.
- Clearance and Certification: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required.
- CI Experience: Proven experience in counterintelligence with a focus on HUMINT operations.
- Research and Analysis: Proficiency in conducting CI related research, analysis, and critical thinking.
- Collaboration and Communication: Demonstrated experience developing collaborative relationships across IC agencies and law enforcement.
- Technical Skills: Experience with targeting tools, operational activities, technical collection capabilities, and operational processes.
- Customer Database Familiarity: Familiarity with customer databases.
