Chestnut Lane Operations is seeking a skilled Laundry Assistant to join our team. As a Laundry Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' rooms and common areas.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in cleaning and laundry operations to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
- Order and monitor supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
- Clean and dust surfaces, including glass and mirrors, to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- Vacuum carpet and sweep and mop floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Deep clean resident apartments and care areas to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- Sort, wash, and dry resident laundry according to building policy.
- Fold, hang, and put away resident laundry according to guidelines.
- Clean all equipment and maintain soiled and clean linen areas to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Assist with housekeeping duties as needed to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- Maintain infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for residents.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must have experience interacting with residents in a similar capacity.
- Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination preferred but not required.
- Proficient in ASL or willing to learn: 5% bonus available.
