Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based medical care and evaluate patient needs
  • Examine and treat chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, injuries, and other health issues
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests as required
  • Collaborate with caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive plan of care
  • Maintain up-to-date patient medical records
Qualifications
  • Active state Nurse Practitioner license
  • Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification
  • Five or more years of nursing experience, with at least two years as a nurse practitioner preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in medical instruments and equipment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
  • Proficiency in computer-based data management programs and EMR systems
  • Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
  • Ability to engage in moderate physical activity
