Job Title: Harm Reduction Specialist

Health Equity Alliance is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Harm Reduction Specialist to join our team. As a Harm Reduction Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing direct harm reduction services and engaging with the community to promote health equity and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct harm reduction services, including referrals, linkages to care, and support for individuals who use drugs.
  • Engage with the community to build trust and provide support, including outreach activities and education on harm reduction strategies.
  • Collaborate with community partners to provide harm reduction services and supplies, such as Narcan and safer-use supplies.
  • Facilitate crisis referrals and connect individuals to community resources.
  • Collect and maintain data to inform program development and evaluation.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year experience in harm reduction or a related field.
  • Familiarity with community resources and harm reduction strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and basic Excel skills.
