Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at ReMed, A College Rehabilitation Partner. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered care to individuals with neurological rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in evaluating clients' level of functionality and need for therapy
  • Implement therapy programs developed by Occupational Therapists to meet assigned clients' rehabilitation goals and objectives
  • Provide treatment techniques, including activities of daily living, perceptual-motor activities, guidance, and use of adaptive equipment, exercises to enhance functional performance, prevocational evaluation and treatment, and use of assistive technology
  • Collect and accurately record data on therapy programs
Requirements
  • An Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy and active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License in applicable state(s)
  • A minimum of two (2) years related work experience, preferably in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting
  • A valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors
