**Position:** Catering Support Specialist

**Work Schedule:** Day and Evening shifts | Weekend Rotation

**Employment Type:** Full Time (7am-3pm) and Part Time (3pm-7pm)

**Department:** Dining Services

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide an exceptional dining experience to ensure our residents feel at home during meals.
  • Serve as a vital link between the kitchen staff and our residents.
  • Assist residents in selecting their meal preferences prior to dining.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in all work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, clinical dieticians, and other team members to deliver outstanding resident services.
  • Prepare and dismantle the kitchen and dining area for each meal service.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and sanitation protocols.

**Ideal Candidates for the Catering Support Specialist Role Will Have:**

  • Previous experience in food service or housekeeping is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a long-term care setting or with elderly individuals is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write clearly, and comprehend both written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Willingness to learn the operation of various household appliances, including dishwashers and garbage disposals.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
