Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Runner to join our team at JO Restaurant Group. As a Food Runner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room by running food from the kitchen to the servers and tables in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the dining area by setting up stations with necessary items, such as under-liners, doilies, and serving utensils.
  • Keep trays clean and organized, and ensure that all food items are properly garnished and presented.
  • Assemble food orders for delivery, carefully matching items to the correct table and ensuring that special instructions are followed.
  • Communicate with servers and bartenders to ensure that all food orders are delivered promptly and accurately.
  • Assist the expediter in wiping down plates and preparing the dining area for service.
  • Page servers to alert them to pick up their food or to be aware of upcoming service.
  • Follow all directions from the chef regarding food service and presentation.
  • Support bus staff and service staff when not running food.
