Job Summary

Hondros College of Nursing is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Nurse to join our faculty team as a Full-Time Nursing Faculty member. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to our students, promoting a positive learning environment, and contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Instruct students in the classroom, lab, and/or clinical setting, promoting a positive learning environment and ensuring that students meet the course objectives.
  • Curriculum Development: Work collaboratively with the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees to develop and implement the curriculum, ensuring that it meets the needs of our students and the nursing profession.
  • Student Support: Provide valuable feedback to students, recommend strategies for student success, and tutor students as needed to assist them in meeting course objectives.
  • Clinical Experience: Implement the clinical experience component of the program, if applicable, and evaluate each student's achievement and progress.
Requirements
  • A Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • At least three years full-time in the practice of nursing as a Registered Nurse or part-time equivalent
  • Active, unencumbered licensure in the State of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
  • Current American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
