Job Summary

The Cardiac Care Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, this specialist coordinates and delivers pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with medical providers to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Medication Administration: Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitor response.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, Rio Grande Regional Hospital offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
