Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all personnel are well-trained, equipped, and motivated to execute the maintenance program effectively.
  • Lead and enforce the safety initiatives within the maintenance department, reviewing safety records to maintain high standards.
  • Execute assigned projects in a safe, efficient, and profitable manner.
  • Maintain open communication with maintenance supervisors, planners, and parts personnel to foster collaboration.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained per the preventative maintenance program.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members.
  • Clearly communicate job expectations and cultivate a cooperative work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management in alignment with Clean Harbors' operational needs.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations within logistics, maintenance, transportation, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to supervise a large team across multiple locations.
  • Experience in fleet maintenance is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
