Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RN Registered Nurse to join our team at HealthEcareers - Client. As a RN Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Care
    • Administer medications to patients in a safe and effective manner.
    • Delegate and supervise patient care activities within the healthcare setting.
    • Communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team to promote effective team functioning.
    • Utilize electronic health records to document patient care and communicate with the healthcare team.
    • Coordinate interdisciplinary plans of care based on current evidence-based practice.
  • Stewardship
    • Use and care for equipment and supplies in an economical manner.
    • Provide patient, family, and caregiver education as directed by the plan of care.
    • Provide service to patients and families with sensitivity and respect for their needs, expectations, age, cultural, and individual differences.
  • Customer Experience
    • Contribute to the patient experience by providing positive patient satisfaction scores and HCAHPs scores.
    • Perform purposeful hourly rounding and bedside shift report to ensure patient needs are met.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
  • Licensure
    • Current Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
  • Certification
    • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Completion Card required.
    • Certification(s) as required by specific unit.
  • Experience
    • Must meet unit-specific care requirements.
  • Language
    • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
Physical and Mental Demands

The RN Registered Nurse must be able to:

  • Stand, walk, bend, and stoop for up to 90% of the assigned shift.
  • Lift, turn, pull, push, or ambulate patients/equipment up to 90% of the assigned shift.
  • Have visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform clinical tasks.
  • Have corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
