About the Role:
Breckenridge Commons Assisted Living Facility is seeking LPNs to join our care team as a valued member who provides direct and indirect nursing care of the resident, as prescribed by the physician, ensuring that care is provided according to established facility standards and policies and in accordance with Federal and State governing regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage personnel on the unit to ensure residents' needs are met.
- Provide total care of all residents on the unit and supervise direct care staff to ensure residents' needs are met.
- Review daily assignments of nursing staff on the unit to ensure assigned duties are consistent with ability and training.
- Coordinate nursing services with other departments, including dietary, social services, activities, physical therapy, etc.
- Initiate and update the nursing care plan for residents on the unit.
Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current license by the State of Indiana in good standing.
- Must possess a health certificate/examination as required by state agencies.
- Prefer at least one year's experience in Long Term Care or a related field.
- Must display good emotional health and be capable of extended periods of standing, bending, and heavy lifting.
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude, including confidentiality, concern for all people, cooperativeness, and conscientious use of time.
