Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Hospice Nurse Specialist to provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to hospice patients during after hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.

About the Role:

  • Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients during after hours
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members
  • Document patient care and progress accurately and timely

Requirements:

  • Valid RN license in the state of California
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or palliative care
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor

Salary and Benefits:
