About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in the Maternal Fetal Medicine office. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in assessing high-risk mothers and fetuses, and assisting physicians in accurately diagnosing diseases or injuries.

Responsibilities
  • Perform OB ultrasound examinations on inpatients and outpatients in the Fetal Evaluation Center or at the bedside as prescribed by physician.
  • Assist Perinatologist in invasive procedures, preparing patients and filling out all necessary forms required.
  • Recognize indications for and appropriate use of diagnostic equipment.
  • Produce permanent records of ultrasound examinations and prepare preliminary forms and reports of ultrasound findings.
  • Present ultrasound findings and related information to the Perinatologist/Obstetrician in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • RDMS Abdominal (AB) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • RDMS Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience.
