At Aramark, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team in a senior living facility in Bridgewater, NJ. This is a 24-hour per week position that requires a passion for providing nutritional services to the elderly.
Job Responsibilities:- Perform medical nutrition therapy assessments on residents to address acute and chronic conditions.
- Educate residents on therapeutic diets and nutrition interventions to improve outcomes and quality of life.
- Work collaboratively with nursing, dietary manager, speech language pathologist, physicians, and nurse practitioners to deliver appropriate individualized nutritional therapy.
- Monitor and assess residents with weight changes, enteral feeding, dialysis, and wounds.
- Participate in resident review meetings to address high-risk residents.
- Conduct patient nutrition assessments on a population of varying levels of acuity patients.
- Manage the development and implementation plan for nutrition intervention in accordance with the Nutrition Care Process.
- Provide appropriate follow-ups in accordance with the patient's treatment goals, referring patients for outpatient counseling, community, or home health services as appropriate.
- Work cooperatively with medical staff and food and nutrition services staff to ensure conformance to prescribed nutrition care orders.
- Provide education that ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred in Dietetics or related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
- New Jersey state licensure as a Dietitian.
- Familiarity with PointClickCare and MDS process is a plus.
