Dietitian Consultant

Job Description:

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition consulting services on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of clinical experience and be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct nutritional assessments and follow-ups using evidence-based practice, adhering to the facility's policy.
• Develop and implement nutrition education-focused interventions for general nutrition and weight management.
• Communicate with nursing and physician staff regarding patient nutritional status.
• Document patient assessments, goals, and interventions in the medical record.
• Provide education to patients and family members on nutritional needs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings as assigned.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures, including confidentiality and patient rights.

Requirements:

• Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Experience providing general nutrition interventions, including weight loss, weight gain, and food intolerances.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with electronic charting systems.
