Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at UrgenCare LLC. As the first point of contact for patients, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and forward calls to the appropriate department or employee.
  • Meet and greet patients, prepare and forward outgoing mail and packages, and maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing as required.
  • Input patient information and demographics into the computer system, verify demographics and insurance, and scan in patient documentation.
  • Ensure all receipts are signed after collecting payments and ensure all consents are signed.
  • Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation and maintain a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities and workflow.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
