Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Special Procedure Technician to join our team in Edgewater, New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive sleep testing and analysis, including welcoming patients, orienting them to a sleep lab, placing leads, monitoring/performing studies, and completing necessary forms.
- Provide training to colleagues with lesser experience and/or skill.
- Supervise other staff and perform lab manager-type duties as needed.
- Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a registered Polysomnographic Technologist.
- NYS license to practice as a sleep technician.
- Valid BLS/CPR card.
- Associate's Degree in Polysomnography or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience.
Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings.
