About the Role

The Maintenance Machinist role at the Princeton location is a key position that provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Machining equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders, welders, etc.
  • Fabricate assembly aides & process aides and repair of tooling.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on plant and shop equipment.
  • Operate Maintenance computer system for time entry and work order generation.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and failure and complete repairs as needed.
  • Follow work instructions and processes to ensure food safety and quality, including all quality assurance checks and keeping proper documentation.
  • Be responsible for recognizing and reporting people safety, food safety, and/or quality issues.
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, standard lathes, key seater machine, automatic cut-off saw, surface grinder and drill press.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment - food manufacturing a plus.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, twist, bend, carry, stand, stoop, turn, and reach overhead.
  • The ability to work overtime and weekends.
