Job Title: Writing Instructor for Summer Camp

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Writing Instructor to join our team at Education Unlimited. As a Writing Instructor, you will be responsible for guiding students through our writing curriculum and helping them develop their writing skills.

Job Description:

The Writing Instructor will be responsible for teaching writing courses to students entering grades 4-12. The instructor will create a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to explore their creativity and develop their writing skills. The instructor will also be responsible for tracking student progress, providing feedback, and assisting students as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach writing courses to students entering grades 4-12
  • Create a supportive and engaging learning environment

Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience teaching writing at the high school or college level
  • Bachelor's degree required; MFA preferred
  • Ability to teach various genres
  • Publications and knowledge about the publication process are preferred
  • A calm and professional demeanor
  • The willingness and ability to work long hours
  • Self-motivation and follow-through
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong people skills
  • A passion for education and writing
