Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Technician to join our team at Clean Earth. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the thermal soil remediation process equipment and mobile equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on thermal soil remediation process equipment and mobile equipment, including screeners, conveyors, and heavy equipment.
  • Facility Operations: Assist with facility operations as needed, including the operation of heavy equipment, soil processing equipment, and the soil remediation plant.
  • Equipment Inspection: Conduct daily equipment condition checks and monitor all plant production and processing equipment, reporting any issues to management.
  • Maintenance Records: Maintain accurate equipment maintenance records and inspection reports.
  • Collaboration: Work directly with Operations and Environmental, Health and Safety staff to prioritize maintenance-related tasks and develop maintenance work orders.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience performing equipment troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or combustion systems.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of equipment maintenance, ability to read and understand equipment manuals and schematics.
