Job Summary

The Grants Manager will oversee the pre-award and post-award processes for sponsored programs, ensuring compliance with sponsor guidelines and University policies. This role will work closely with Principal Investigators to develop and manage proposals, as well as monitor and review grant expenditures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage proposal development, including budget and related pre-award activities for diverse sponsor portfolio.
  • Monitor and review grant expenditures, identifying incorrect transactions and taking corrective action.
  • Meet with Principal Investigators to discuss and advise on financial issues related to their portfolios.
  • Work with payroll coordinator to ensure faculty and staff are paid correctly.
  • Create, manage, and track subcontracts in RIS/MTAs and follow-up through execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Grants Manager B: Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Work Environment

This role will be based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and will report to the Administrative and Financial Officer within the Department of Hematology Oncology.
