Job Summary

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our team. As a key member of our sports medicine team, you will provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical evaluation, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician, ensuring the highest level of care and attention to detail.
  • Participate in the Athletic Training Services program, covering school athletic events and practices, and designing and implementing specific therapeutic programs for rehabilitation of injured athletes.
  • Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques, including taping, wrapping, bracing, proper hydration, and minor wound care, to decrease the risk of injury.
  • Monitor and record the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques, ensuring optimal care within the sports medicine team.
  • Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures, and provide basic life support to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.
  • Seek out opportunities to promote the company through outreach and participation in events, such as races and club teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certification.
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Applicable state license where required.
