The Value Analysis Optimization Analyst plays a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic opportunities and support the value analysis process at Intermountain Healthcare. Key Responsibilities
- Leverage advanced data systems and tools to generate and identify strategic opportunities for the Value Analysis Teams (VATs).
- Integrate various data sources to create comprehensive and actionable insights.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex healthcare data from various sources.
- Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Create sophisticated data visualizations to communicate complex data clearly and effectively.
- Present data-driven insights to clinical resource specialists and category management to support informed decision-making.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of VAT initiatives and programs.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement based on data analysis.
- Develop and maintain compliance dashboards to track adherence to established protocols and standards.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role within a healthcare supply chain environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare data sources, metrics, and industry standards.
- Experience with SQL, data warehousing, and data management best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- Experience working with clinical data.
- In-depth knowledge of value analysis processes and supply chain management principles is highly desirable.
Skills
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a proven ability to analyze complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to present data effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including clinical and operational stakeholders.
