Job Summary:

This Electrical Maintenance Specialist position is responsible for performing electrical duties in and around the hospital buildings, ensuring optimum operation, efficiency, and safety requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have journeyman-level proficiency and be able to work on call at times.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs preventative maintenance on assigned electrical equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety.
Performs corrective maintenance and repairs, including documentation on defective electrical equipment.
Installs electrical equipment as required to ensure optimum safety and efficiency.
Performs electrical work on all maintenance or construction jobs to National Electrical Code Standards.

Requirements:

Journeyman Electrician License
Four years electrical experience
Ability to trouble-shoot electrical circuitry, electronic controls, mechanical equipment, pneumatic equipment, and DDC

Physical Requirements:
Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling / Pushing, Squatting / Kneeling, Standing
