Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Residential Electrician to join our team at IES Residential. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical rough-ins and trim-outs in new multi-family homes across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install wiring, outlets, switches, fixtures, and other electrical components in new construction homes.
  • Collaborate with contractors, builders, and project managers to ensure timely completion of electrical work.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Keep accurate records of materials used and hours worked on each project.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and address any concerns.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience.
  • E-2 Electrical Journeyman Electrician license or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential electrical work, preferably in new construction.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical plans.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
