Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling procedures, verifying insurance information, and ensuring that authorizations are obtained prior to scheduling testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone calls promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure calls are identified and properly categorized
  • Verify insurance information and collect referrals and authorizations
  • Schedule appointments and record them accurately
  • Notify supervisor of any problems pertaining to processing patients
  • Demonstrate flexibility and ability to perform multiple functions within the practice

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Clerical experience and customer service skills
