Job Title: IR Technologist

Join UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale as an IR Technologist and be part of a team that values the wholeness of each person. As an IR Technologist, you will assist with setting up, scrubbing into, monitoring, and assisting physicians with all cases performed in the IR lab.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate room turn over and set up for all cases
  • Provide side-by-side support to the physician during cases
  • Monitor cases appropriately using the EMR and hemodynamic system
  • Assess and maintain necessary supplies for different cases performed and communicate to the lead RT or materials management when items need to be ordered
  • Capture and enter appropriate charges for each case
  • Reconcile billing for historical cases
  • Assist other team members to facilitate daily workflow for the day, which may include patient transport and other necessary duties
Requirements:
  • Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • BLS issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS
  • ARRT
  • IEMA
  • OR or Cath Lab experience preferred
