About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Hinsdale. As a key member of our Cath Lab/Special Procedures team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with setting up, scrubbing into, monitoring, and assisting with cases performed in the cardiac Cath/IR lab.
  • Facilitate room turnover and setup for all cases in the cath lab using sterile technique.
  • Provide side-by-side support to physicians during cases.
  • Monitor cases appropriately using the EMR and hemodynamic system.
  • Assess and maintain necessary supplies for different cases performed and communicate with lead RT or materials management when items need to be ordered.
  • Capture and enter appropriate charges for each case.
  • Reconcile billing for historical cases.
  • Assist other team members to facilitate daily workflow for the day, which may include patient transport and other necessary duties.
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS.
  • ARRT.
  • IEMA.
  • OR or Cath Lab experience preferred.
