We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist Lead to join our team at Alton Memorial Hospital.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a licensed pharmacist to make a direct impact on patient care by rounding with a multidisciplinary team, reviewing patient medications, providing patient education/counseling, and more.
Responsibilities- Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness with regard to patient condition, organ function, and concomitant therapies to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Document all activities and communication as necessary and manage workflow in focused areas of pharmacy practice.
- Supervise and direct supportive personnel, including pharmacists, technicians, interns, and volunteers, ensuring the accuracy of their work in accordance with departmental procedures and Federal and State regulations.
- Develop, review, and implement policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree - Pharmacy.
- 2-5 years of experience.
- Licenses & Certifications: Medication Therapy Srvcs in MORPh.
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
