Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) - Clinical Expertise

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Clinical Expertise: Offer expert advice on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and contraindications to patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
- Patient Counseling: Engage with patients to understand their health needs, provide personalized guidance, and empower them to take control of their well-being.
- Pharmacy Operations: Ensure the efficient operation of the pharmacy, including prescription filling, verification, and management, while maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacy staff to optimize workflow, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions to enhance patient experience and pharmacy performance.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, with a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Certifications: Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
